Eva Wiegman has been a massage therapist and Aesthetician for over 20 years. She has worked in many facets of the industry from a destination spa in Sedona, AZ to owning her own business. In 2018 she went back to school and graduated in 2020 with her RN from Bryant & Stratton College in Milwaukee.

Q&A with Eva Wiegman

Q. How long have you been a massage therapist?
A. I have been a massage therapist for over 20 years. I am also an aesthetician and an RN. Currently, I am also working as an RN in the field of aesthetics. My passion is wellness and helping people achieve balance through the art of massage therapy.

Q. What areas do you specialize in?
A. I specialize in Swedish Relaxation Massage, Deep Tissue / Sports Massage, and Prenatal Massage.

I offer a holistic treatment that gets to the root of the physical issue while supporting one’s energetic balance as well. I incorporate a blend of modalities learned in my career to give a present and sensitive treatment.

Q. What brought you to your current style of practice?
A. Years of experience and exposure to many modalities have molded my style of massage. Neuromuscular, Swedish, acupressure, and energy work are incorporated into my work.

Q. What can a new client expect?
A. A new client can expect a thorough and customized treatment tailored to address the needs of your body.

Q.What recent industry trends have you found most noteworthy?
A. Empowering clients with tools to treat their issues on their own by use of stretching, tools, mindfulness, and self-massage.

Q. What are your current personal wellness goals and how are you addressing them?
A. One of my wellness goals is to take time out of every day for mindfulness and to move my body every day.

Q. What is your favorite beautiful spot in Milwaukee?
A. I have been loving Lion’s Den Park in Grafton.

Q. What is your favorite place to eat in Milwaukee?
A.   Le Reve

Q. What are your top three favorite things to do/hobbies?
A. My top three favorite things to do are spend time with my family, play with my dogs, and be in nature.

Q. What do you do to de-stress?
A. To destress I like to get massages, practice t’ai Chi and yoga, and get out into nature.
