We are excited to welcome Anna Grassman, DPT to the INVIVO Physical Therapy Team.
Physical therapy can help those with back, neck, muscle and joint pain, headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, sprains and strains, sports-related injuries, body misalignments, and more. Anna’s goal is to relieve a patient’s current stresses, issues, and injuries using evidence-based movement science to prevent future pain and dysfunction. She also treats balance and vestibular disorders which helps reduce dizziness-related problems.
As a licensed Physical Therapist, Anna has experience with orthopedic conditions and treats patients with manual techniques, mobilizations, movement and body mechanics education, trigger point release, and dry needling.
Anna brings several years of physical therapy rehabilitation experience which has allowed her to be creative, yet practical with her exercise prescription. She enjoys educating patients to provide insight into their condition and develop a comprehensive treatment strategy. Anna appreciates the collaborative nature of physical therapy because it requires a team effort from the clinician and the patient to work towards shared healthcare goals.
Anna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology-Exercise and Movement Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland-Baltimore. She also has her dry needling certification through Myopain seminars.
